About Us
At Glenwood, we follow the Reggio Emilia approach: one of the most respected early childhood education philosophies in the world.
At its core is a simple but radical idea: that children are not empty vessels waiting to be filled, but capable, curious human beings who arrive with their own theories, questions, and ways of making sense of the world.
We serve children ages 2-5 from 8am to 430pm weekly with half days on Thursdays 8am to 1230pm. At Glenwood Childrens Center you can expect a daily flow that matches your childs needs and incorporates your childs interests throughout the year.
With an emphasis on natural curriculum, open ended child led play, and real connection, Glenwood Children’s Center holds a high image of the child and treat each member of our classroom as current members of society.
Our Facilities
Our 7,000 square foot school sits just around the corner from the Glenwood Preserve, giving children easy access to one of Scotts Valley's most beautiful natural spaces. Inside, a dedicated art and play room, lined floor to ceiling in paper, is stocked with any materials children need to create, explore, and surprise themselves every day. No two days look the same here, and that's exactly the point.

Every family is different, and our scheduling options are designed to reflect that. We offer flexible daily scheduling, meaning you choose exactly which days and time your child attends each week.
Your weekly schedule repeats consistently so your child has a reliable routine, and tuition is billed monthly based on your selected days.
